Our own public events
The members of our association enjoy showing off their LEGO® creations and collections, both to each other and to other enthusiasts and interested parties. Small and large LEGO®-themed events are regularly organised in the Netherlands (and, of course, in other countries around us). Our members love to participate in these events, but even better is that Dutchbricks also organises its own public events.
We do this as an association under the name “Bricktopia”. There are two or three editions each year. These take place in the province of Limburg (NL), and we regularly change the location and region. Bricktopia is a two-day event where our members showcase their (latest) creations and extensive collections. In addition to the exhibition, there are always a number of vendors present where you can buy new or second-hand LEGO® sets and individual bricks. We make a conscious effort to ensure that there is more exhibition than sales.
We want to keep Bricktopia accessible to everyone with relatively low admission prices. We also cater to younger LEGO® fans by providing building corners where they can get creative. We also arrange areas where they can colour in pictures or play games. This way, it's always a fun outing for the whole family!
Do you enjoy building with LEGO®? Do you like to see what others are making with LEGO®? Would you like to meet other LEGO® enthusiasts and fans? Then a visit to Bricktopia is highly recommended. Our members enjoy chatting, both with each other and with visitors. It's often a lot of fun. For many of our members, participating in Bricktopia is something they always look forward to and an important reason for becoming a member of Dutchbricks.
Bricktopia World
On 17 and 18 May 2025, we celebrated our 10th anniversary as Dutchbricks with a big anniversary event at the MECC Maastricht. After many previous editions, it seemed like a great challenge to organise a special Bricktopia. Finally, after about 1.5 years of preparations, we managed to put together a fantastic weekend full of LEGO® fun with the help of members, volunteers, suppliers, sponsors and external participants (including other RLUGs from the Benelux and Germany).
