Membership benefits

Thank you for your interest in our association. If you are a LEGO® enthusiast and would like to join our association, you have come to the right place. We enjoy sharing our hobby and inspiring each other. Everyone is welcome at Dutchbricks!

The association organises various public events every year (usually under the name “Bricktopia”) in which you can participate or help out as a member (always based on prior registration). Other interesting benefits of membership include:

Free participation in the aforementioned public events where Dutchbricks is represented;
Free admission as a visitor to events organised by Dutchbricks (on presentation of your membership card via Jumperplate);
Opportunity to participate in club afternoons and other activities especially for members
Opportunity to participate in community builds organised by the association (building one large structure/display together);
Access to our WhatsApp community, where you can join various groups as you wish;
The Dutchbricks newsletter with the latest news about the association, its activities and events;
Opportunity to help and contribute ideas as a volunteer in one of our working groups or organise an activity/event.

Membership fees

We have divided our membership fees into two groups: you can become an individual member or join our association together with one or more family members. By offering family membership at a lower rate per additional family member, we want to give everyone the opportunity to become a member of our association in an accessible way.

MEMBERSHIP FEES 2025

Membership fees run per calendar year from 1 January to 31 December.

Up to 18 years of age € 12
18 years of age and older € 25

Family membership

First member aged 18+: € 25
Each additional member under the age of 18: € 0
Each additional member aged 18+: € 10

MEMBERSHIP FEES 2026

Membership fees are charged per calendar year from 1 January to 31 December.

Up to 18 years of age € 15
18 years and older € 30

Family membership

First member 18+ € 30
Per additional member under 18 € 5
Per additional member 18+ € 12.50

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Here you can find answers to some frequently asked questions regarding membership.

We do our best to help you as soon as possible.

How does Dutchbricks' membership year work?

We base our membership fees on the calendar year. Your membership runs from 1 January to 31 December. Payment of your membership fee must be received in our association's account before 1 January of the new calendar year.

Anyone who becomes a member on or after 1 July pays only 50% of the membership fee for the current calendar year.
Anyone who becomes a member before 1 December is a member until the end of that calendar year (31 December).
Anyone who becomes a member after 30 November remains a member until 31 December of the following year.

To illustrate with a few examples:

Someone who becomes a member on 1 January 2025 will remain a member until 31 December 2025.
Someone who becomes a member on 30 September 2025 will remain a member until 31 December 2025.
Someone who becomes a member on 1 December 2025 will remain a member until 31 December 2026.

How can I become a member of Dutchbricks?

Becoming a member is very easy:

As soon as we have received your membership fee payment in our account, your membership will be active. You will receive a confirmation email with additional information.

How can I cancel my membership?

We hope you will never need to do this, as we would be sorry to see you go, but if it is really necessary, please note the following:

You can cancel your membership at any time.

Send an email to: secretariaat@dutchbricks.nl and clearly state that you wish to terminate your membership.

The secretariat will confirm your cancellation in writing by email.

Please note: no refund (partial or otherwise) is possible for membership fees already paid for the current calendar year in which your cancellation takes place.
