From October onwards, Dutchbricks and Ronald McDonald House Maastricht will be joining forces. What began as a spontaneous encounter has grown into a collaboration centred on creativity, commitment and support.

Ronald McDonald House Maastricht offers parents, brothers and sisters a place close to their sick child in hospital. A place to catch their breath, recharge their batteries and be back at their child's bedside within minutes. Thanks to the efforts of volunteers, donors and committed partners, the House continues to operate — allowing families to be together during difficult times.

Dutchbricks, a Euregional LEGO® association, has chosen the House as its new social cause. As a Recognised LEGO® User Group (RLUG), we believe that building connects people — and that as a community, we can also make a difference outside our own world.

📦 Our first joint step: three boxes full of LEGO® sets, intended to give children and families a brief escape from their daily worries.

What we will do together:

  • Ronald McDonald House Maastricht receives LEGO® sets for relaxation and fun;

  • Dutchbricks organises creative activities and helps with practical tasks;

  • Together, we are committed to creating a warmer, brighter environment for families;

  • Dutchbricks joins the Club van 52, thereby contributing structurally to the well-being of families in the House.

This collaboration is a fine example of how two worlds can reinforce each other. From the House, where every day revolves around closeness, tranquillity and care. And from Dutchbricks, where building is not just a hobby — but also a way to give something back.

Together, we are building a home away from home.
